That was the Girls'Day 2023

Together with 10 girls from 5th to 9th grade, we had an eventful and exciting Girls'Day 2023. We built a night light in the shape of a flower that opens and closes at the touch of a button and even lights up in different colors. All the parts for the flower body came from the 3D printer. Together we screwed, glued, wired, soldered, tested, laughed a lot and sometimes even cursed. In the end, it was done and all the girls could take their flower night light home with them!

If you like it even more individual, you can program your flower yourself. The night light is equipped with an Arduino Nano, a microcontroller with which programming projects can be easily implemented.

For all those who are curious, here is a video of the making of the flower.

That was the Girls'Day 2022

The first Girls'Day at ekvip was a great success. It was a lot of fun to work on luminous pois together with 11 female students. Admittedly, it was a bit tricky and fiddly with the many soldering points. But all participants impressed us with their perseverance, concentration and motivation - You did great!
