ekvip in Leipzig offers PLC programming and worldwide commissioning of interlinked production units. At the same time, we are developing a framework that uses modern software development in automation technology. We are working to ensure that our software standard is not only actively used in industrial projects, but is also available as an open source framework.
Your tasks
- Software development: design and development of machine control software in IEC 61131-3 standards using platforms such as Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 or Siemens AX.
- Commissioning: Commissioning work at the customer's site to ensure that the systems are operational and meet the project requirements.
- HMI/SCADA development: Creation of intuitive and efficient human-machine interfaces and supervisory control and data acquisition systems with tools such as TwinCAT 3 HMI Server, SIMATIC WinCC Unified or VisiWin7.
- Specialization: Gain expertise in Siemens AX or Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 to become a specialist in your field.
- Collaboration: You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware systems.
Your profile
- Educational background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Programming knowledge: basic knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Kotlin or C#
- Interesse an Automatisierung: Leidenschaft für die Automatisierung von komplexen Maschinen und das Thema Softwareentwicklung im Maschinenbau
- Willingness to travel
