On Sunday, May 11, 2025, Clara Zetkin Park in Leipzig was transformed into a colorful sea of athletic energy: More than 2,100 women who love running took part in this year's Leipzig Women's Run. But the event was not just about athletic achievement—it also sent an important social message against violence against women.
As a sponsor of the women's run, it is a matter close to our hearts at ekvip to support this important event. Part of the proceeds went to the non-profit organization “Frauen für Frauen” (Women for Women)—and with great success: a total of 9,500 euros was donated.
The donation will go directly to the association's diverse and urgently needed projects, including two women's shelters, two specialist counseling centers on violence, education and prevention projects in schools, and support services for affected children and young people.
We are proud to be working with many supporters to send a visible message of solidarity, safety, and equality for women.
